Good morning my friends, First off I wanted to tell you that I will not be blogging for a min. My computer is sick and needs some repair work done. So I want to do one more post before she does to the doctor....
So it's almost one week into March and things are starting to look like spring , Although we did not have that bad of a winter. Anyway to kick off the beginning of spring I always do a clean up in the kitchen and let me tell you it needs it.... The one thing I do is go through all my spices and get rid of the ones that are out of date and replace them with fresh ones... also it's a good time to clean out all the cabinets and make way for a Happy Spring....
Make sure not to forget me and keep you fingers crossed that it wouldn't take long to fix my computer :( I will give you a tour of my fresh clean kitchen when it's all done. Love you guys. Have a great rest of the week and have a wonderful weekend....

Wondering What Is Going On
Good Saturday morning, Yesterday we had some strong storms come though IN and north of the City was spared, But where I live we had a little hail. I took this picture of my cat Diesel looking up at the roof as it was hitting, He just couldn't figure out what was going on.
All is calm today, Thank God.

Herb Wreath
Hello, I hope everyone had a good week.
A few days ago I bought this herb wreath. Now I'm not big on FAKE flowers and greenery But this had to come home with me, It looks so real and perfect in the kitchen, It has Basil, Thyme,Rosemary,
Sage, and Lavender around it.
Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Architectural Prints
Hello everyone, I can't believe that it's been three weeks sense my last post, But I have been so busy with work and not to mention my camera is not working (not good) So I had to use my old one and the photos do not turn out very good. On my resent visit to Goodwill I found these great architectural prints of the Roman Columns and I knew right where I wanted to hang them.
I'm working on a few things in the living room so we can have a place to hang out and relax, It's time for a change once again, It will take a few months (or maybe more) to do everything I want to do, I had to replace the windows on the front of the house so as soon as I get those payed off I can get started. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

You will need:
5 tablespoons melted butter
4 Egg Whites
1 Cup Sugar
1Cup Flour
A pinch of salt
3 Tablespoons of Heavy Cream
1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
Cooking Spray
Directions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet liberally with cooking spray. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat; set aside.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine egg whites and sugar, and beat on medium speed, about 30 seconds. Add flour and salt, and beat until combined. Add butter, heavy cream, and almond extract, and beat until combined, about 30 seconds.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of batter onto half of the baking sheet, and spread with the back of a spoon into a thin 5-inch circle; repeat on the other half of the sheet. Bake until the edges of the cookies turn golden brown, about 8 minutes.
- Transfer baking sheet to a heat-resistant surface. Working as quickly as possible, slide a spatula (an offset spatula, available at specialty kitchen shops, works best) under one of the cookies. Lift it up, and place it on a clean kitchen towel. Using your fingers, fold the cookie in half, pinching the top together to form a loose semicircle. Hold the cookie with your index fingers inserted at each open end, and slide your thumbs together along the bottom line. Press into the center of the cookie while bending the two open ends together and down to form the shape of a fortune cookie. This whole process should take about 10 seconds. Once the cookie hardens, which begins to happen almost immediately, you cannot fold it. Place the fortune cookie on the kitchen towel to cool, and shape the second cookie. Repeat until all the batter is used up. To speed up the process, bake four cookies at a time, staggering two cookie sheets by 4 minutes to give you time to shape. To avoid wasting batter, practice folding with a circle of paper first.
- Write your message on a long strip of sturdy art paper, such as Japanese moriki. Thread the fortune through the cookie when it has cooled.

Good Morning
Hello everyone, So for the last ten days it's been nothing but Superbowl talk here in Indy. I couldn't be more proud of the City that I live in, I'm hearing nothing but positive things.. So I guess Indy is finally on the map. I really done have a lot to talk about and I don't have any new projects to show you, But I did want to say Hello. February is a slow month for me at work, So this is when I get started spring cleaning, We are still not out of the woods for snow and I'm sure we will still get plenty of it. I hope everyone is doing well. You will hear from me soon. Have a great week.

My New Laundry Room Reveal
So as you know I have been working on my laundry room for the past two weeks, And let me tell you there was a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that went into this project, But in the end I am so loving how it turned out.. I know it looks a little dark But I assure you that it is not, I ended up having a friend help me install the shelving because I couldn't find any that I liked, These are so much stronger than the wire kind.. The paint is called Zinc (Martha Stewart) I cheated and had Lowe's color match it (Sorry Martha) and the flooring is a high grade peel and stick. The baskets and laundry hamper I bought over the summer at good old Home Good. I hid the heating and cooling system and water heater with a King size sheet hemmed and put up with a tension rod. I am still waiting for the lighting I ordered to come in But in the mean time do you remember what the Laundry Room looked like????

Good Sunday morning, So the laundry room is nearly finished, It has been one of the hardest projects that I have done, You would think that such a small room would be NO problem, But how wrong one can be... Here is a sneak peek at what I have done so far, And the nails where my inspiration..
Hang tight I have a few more days(LOL) to go I still have to put down quarter round, Hang the lighting, and put up the shelving, So I guess I better get going or it will never get done....Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful Sunday
