Fig Tree

Good Tuesday Morning to everyone, Was out in the yard watering and desisted to share my fig tree with all of you. I planted it two years ago and it has taken off like wild fire..It's one that at the end of the year dies all the way back and comes back double in size the next year.. I love figs and was so happy to find one that I can grow in Indiana....

I have a great recipe for stuffed figs and will share it with you as soon as they are ready to pick.... It's going to get hot once again here today... So stay cool and keep smiling cause soon it will be fall...

Hugs
~~Pattie~~

Do you wanna come by and grab some eggs? We are overflowing here! I've got at least an extra dozen!

Really? A fig tree? Oh I would love to have a fig tree. Didn't think it was possible in these colder climates.

Fig trees have the most beautiful leaves! I went to a store this week-end that sold gourmet food. They were sampling Fig Butter w/ Walnuts (like apple butter). It was really yummy!

Hi Pattie,
Your fig tree is awesome. When I was growing up my parents use to have one in their back yard and we loved it...Always gave the sweetest fruit. Enjoy! Have a wonderful day.

Hugs and Kisses,

The closest I have ever come to a fig is a Fig Newton! I must say that stuffed figs sound interesting...can't wait to see what they are. We are keeping cool here...hate to see what my electric bill will be!

I love the big leaves. One of these days we'll manage to have a good chat.

hey Pattie, I love figs too. There's a huge tree in our local park but by the time you get there to get a few they are all gone. Have a great weekend and thanks for all your support, T
