Adding Some Dark Grey
So after looking at the living room I decided to add some dark grey to the inside of the old cabinet. I had some paint left over from the bed room so this is what it looks like now. I have ideas that I have been thinking about doing with it like cutting it in half putting it on the other side of the room and using it to house a TV. We really don't use this room other than sitting and reading or visiting, Such a waste of great space. Maybe someday that dream will come true.
Now before I forget I threw in a couple of pictures of the sweetest little lamp the my friend Bonnie bought me while she was here visiting and it fits me well don't you think? I just hope that people don't start calling me the crazy Boston Terrier Lady...LOL. Thanks for stopping by it always makes my day.

The lamp is cute and I love the size and shape of your bookshelf. I am searching on craigslist and kijiji for a couple of wood bookcases to paint for our home.

ReplyDeleteI do love how it looks with the dark color behind all of your white accessories in that cabinet. It gives it a crisp look and I think it looks more expensive now. I love the Apothecary sign on it too. Your lamp is adorable. It's subtle since it's all white. I think it fits in your room perfectly and plays off your love for that breed (which we share). Anyone that loves Boston Terriers gets an A+ in my book!!

I really like the grey. I've had thoughts of painting the backs of my cabinets, but I'll probably never get up the courage to do it :)
