New Lighting in the Kitchen

Hello everyone so I have been working on The Nail Room everything is coming along slowly but surely. In the mean time I have been wanting to change out the lighting in the kitchen every sense I painted the cabinets everything I loved was way to much money. So time pasted and then... I found them at World Market for $149.00 each But wait it gets better, So I went to order them and they don't take WM credit card online (What) Long story short went in the store they where 30% off and then I have an online coupon 20% off ,So how do you past that up. Introducing A New Color

Hello everyone, I told you I would be back. So I have been working on doing some changes in The Nail Room where I spend most of my time, I love the way it looks and have for the last nine years, But it's time for a change. So I have been working on it when I am not busy doing nails. I plan on changing the wall color and getting rid of the old border (yuck) I'm going to wait til spring to change out the seating and a few other things, I wanted to show you the color I choose for the dresser it's a indigo blue. Yes I said Blue who would have ever thought I would use this color sense it's my least favorite color, But I love it... So much more to do in this room, But I just couldn't wait to show you.

Christmas in the Kitchen

Hello again it's almost the weekend, and I feel like a chicken with her head cut off.... Do you all remember the tool box from last year? I went with green apples and boxwood branches this time.

Christmas 2012

Grey and Sliver Christmas

I started decorating my kitchen for Christmas of course I'm going to stick with grey and silver, to my surprise there's a lot of stuff out there this year to keep with this theme. Here is a sneak peek.

Christmas Mantel 2012

Hello everyone hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Friends and Family Or like me it was quite, Tia and I kinda hung out and watched movies and decorated the house. I found the cutest mercury glass battier operated lights at Target I just had to have them, got the last two boxes. A couple of years ago I hung snowflakes form the ceiling and thought I would do them again this year they look so pretty at night. I'm still having trouble finding some things with the color I want to do, But hopefully I will find what I am looking for. Or I will have to just work with what I have again this year.. So here are a few pictures to kick off the Holiday season..

Getting Ready For Christmas

Hey everyone, I know everyone is busy getting ready to kick off another year of decorating, baking and spending time with friends and family. I can't believe that it's time to get in the Christmas spirit. 
I've been busy working and at night getting all my decorations out and going though them making sure that everything is working and still looks good to put out and enjoy. I think I'm going for a  little more color this year. But don't fall over just yet, It's not going to scream Mrs. Claus I'm still trying to figure out witch color to go with.. So on that note I wanted to give you a sneak peek at the mantel (not nearly done) and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. And I will be back next week to show you my Home for Christmas 2012. Adding Some Dark Grey

So after looking at the living room I decided to add some dark grey to the inside of the old cabinet. I had some paint left over from the bed room so this is what it looks like now. I have ideas that I have been thinking about doing with it like cutting it in half putting it on the other side of the room and using it to house a TV. We really don't use this room other than sitting and reading or visiting, Such a waste of great space. Maybe someday that dream will come true. 

Now before I forget I threw in a couple of pictures of the sweetest little lamp the my friend Bonnie bought me while she was here visiting and it fits me well don't you think? I just hope that people don't start calling me the crazy Boston Terrier Lady...LOL. Thanks for stopping by it always makes my day.

New Color In The Master Bedroom

Good Monday Afternoon all, I wanted to share with all of you what I have been doing for the last month besides working. I managed to get the new paint color on the walls in my bedroom.. I've had mixed reviews some love it others think it's to dark. But I think it turned out perfect. The window is quite large and lets in a lot of light that's why I was able to get away with the color I chose. It's called Knights Armor. I also changed the fabric on the armoire to one I bought at Ikea six months ago. Still not sure about this new camera maybe I should sit down and at least read the book on how to use it.. Anyway you can go back and see the bedroom before Here. There is still some tweaking I have to do but I just couldn't wait to show all of you. Have a great week.

Happy Halloween

Hello everyone hope you're having a great weekend, I finally got my camera (still trying to figure it out) Seems to be pretty nice. Anyway thought I would share a few decorations to start out the Fall season. I don't really decorate for Halloween But I found some Martha Stewart stuff at Goodwill for $3.99 and thought what the heck. So I did a little in The Nail Room and a little out side.

A Recap On Spring and Summer

Hello all hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. I'm a little late on getting this post out but I have been a bit busy. So I wanted to recap summer of 12012 witch again was not the greatest for gardens and flowers... I'm getting ready to cut everything down and start planing for fall decorating So here is one last look at spring and summer here at my Home.

Tia's Style

Hello peeps, Today I thought I would share with you my daughters room, We definitely Have two different styles she loves dark colors and I love light and bright. I love changing things and she loves leaving things just the way they are, I'm always asking her if she wants to change the color of her walls or maybe changing out the bedding. and the answer is always NO.. We are working on a old dresser that needs some TLC and I will show you all the other side of the room when it's done. So on that note here is a look at her cute bedroom...
