My little table

Hello my blogger friends, I'm just now recouping form a week of FUN... After having such a great time at the The French Flea Market last weekend we all desisted to go to Ikea on Monday... Of course we had to pick the hottest day of the year to go, But none the less we had a blast... OK before I get ahead of myself I wanted to share with you the little table I bought fromCarrie and Doug of Hot House Market, it's prefect in my kitchen, It's a little short so I might tweak it a bit to make it more functional...Or it might go in my bedroom as a night stand...

What do you guys think about it? Marty form A Stroll Thur Life is having a Summer cloche Party so I'm going to join in the fun....

Hugs
~~Pattie~~

I think if you can't find a place for it, I'll take it!! Is there an Ikea in your area? I've tried to get to the one in Chicago a number of times but there's no way. I don't know how they stay in business! It might be worth a drive down.

Have a great weekend.

Best,
Bonnie

I think it's great...and if it's a bit short you could maybe affix some casters to it-it would give it height and portability in the kitchen. Don't you love when you come across finds like that? And, pray tell, what did you buy at IKEA?;>) xo Diana

Put some rollers on your table. In our last house, I was using an old, charming sofa table in our kitchen, and it, too, was short. We added some industrial rollers, and it raised up just enough. Plus, I could roll it around to be where I needed/wanted it to be.

I love, LOVE that table!!
Thank you SO much for coming to my site! I love south of Greenwood in the country. I am also a special education teacher for Center Grove Schools :) I have 2 kids and my husband works for St. V's.
I am always wondering why we never moved to the NS as all of my favorite places are there and we drive up there a lot (well he does every day) but I am from Bloomington and would love to move back...so I guess this is about as far north as I am going :)
I love you site, so pretty! I never knew there was a French Market!
Thank you again for coming by and I hope to see you there again. I am also at basilmomma on twitter and facebook :)

I love it! That Hot House Market had some cool stuff. My friend bought a cookie jar to use for dog biscuits and I loved that couch covered in sheet material! Love the table too. My sister just went to IKEA this past weekend. I gotta go there sometime.

Love it! Great patina and size - if you want to lift it without changing maybe you can make a platform to have it stand on - thereby also creating a storage shelf too! Love the cloche!
Hope you have a great day!

The patina of the beautiful table is the perfect backdrop for your cloche vignette... especially with those blue Mason jars... loved viewing it! And I love your mantle vignette from your previous post... with those Ikea potted greenery, it looks so summery and pretty. Thanks for sharing with us and for visiting me. Have a great week!Hugs~Poppy

This table is darling! I so want a little table in our kitchen but my husband doesn't want to bump into it! I might have to cave and do all the cooking so then he won't be allowed in there and can't bump into anything, right?
