Hello all, I hope everyone is having a great start to the New Year. Between Christmas and New Years is one of the busiest two weeks at The Nail Room and I must say I needed a break, So onto the subject. My laundry room has not been touched in the last ten years, So I thought it was time for a much needed makeover. But please DON'T HATE me for getting rid of this beautiful border and the gorgeous color on the walls... And not to mention the heating and cooling system that's takes up ALL of the room....
This is going to be one long month, It's a dirty job But someone has to do it.... So here is the plan... New flooring...Paint....Lighting... and a few surprises. I will be keeping you all up to date on what I am doing. This weekend I will be going to Lowe's and picking out flooring and paint. So on that note everyone have a great weekend.

Can't wait to see what you do with it! I have a great idea...maybe you could keep a small patch of the border and frame it for the wall...you wouldn't want it out of your life forever, would you? LOL

Wow! That will be a major undertaking, but I know it will be beautiful when it's all done. Can't wait to see it!
Pattiiiii.....those cowboy cats have got to go !!!LOL. To hide your furnace and water heater, put up a piece of lattice. Your furnace and waterheater will still get air flow around them...but then you do not have to see them so much. :):) A brighter/lighter color of paint will make it light in there.
Ooooh I can't WAIT!! Good luck Pattie! I'm sure it will be fab like the rest of your beautiful home!
Can't wait to see what magic you perform in there. I'm sure it will be fabulous!
I'm sure it will be challenging (I hate painting in tight spaces) but fresh paint always makes me feel better. And thanks, now I'm not feeling quite so bad about my recently posted plans to paint our basement guest bedroom. again.
I dig the cats :)
I hope that you have a fun makeover of your laundrey room! It is on my list of things to do this year as well!
Can't wait to see it Pattie, I know you are going to make it look FABULOUS!!
I can't wait to see it! I have a feeling I'm going to love it. I always love all your makeovers.
That is what I plan on doing soon too! Oh girl that border LOL!~WOW
Can't wait to see what you do!
The cat border made me chuckle out loud!
Mine looked a lot like yours for about ten years too...did a makeover two years ago...looking forward to seeing what you do.

OMG... a big job. I was complaining that our entrance didn't finish in time.
Our home looks like a building area and I hate the dust. But as you said, someone must do the job.
I can't wait to see the outcome. Goodluck, girl.

Awww, we should have. Didn't know you were so close. We did a lot in just a couple of days... I hope we can come the next time I am there. I could only get half my stuff, so another trip is in the near future. I have come to the conclusion I just have way too much!
Good luck on the make over, don't you love a good project. I am going to paint the family room :)
Blessings

Wow! I can't wait to see what you do in here! I thought I was the only person in the world with that - it looks like exact heating system - in my laundry room. For now I just try to ignore it.
