Great idea & great job! Who knew the "humble" dropcloth could provide the basis for so many wonderful creations? Ideas keep popping up all over blogland.

Wow! I love the seam down the middle. I like the piping (or whatever it's called) around the top too. Looks great!

Pattie, those are gorgeous, and I love your dining room too! I so admire those who can sew, I keep saying I'll get to learning, and still haven't had the time. Your slipcovers are so professionally finished, and really add to the cottage feel of the room. xxx tami

Pattie, great slips. You do such a great job on them. Wish I could sew like that. Have two parsons chairs that need slips. Have fun in the yard.

Lovely slipcovers... I'm drooling over them. Great job. you are so talented. Can't wait to see the outside work you've completed. I'm feeling a bit lazy today. So windy here in Greenfield. Heard we may get some severe storms later. Ughh... c'mon warmer weather.

Gorgeous job on the slipcovers. I have been working on doing 8 chairs for my dining room, but no piping for me. I'm taking the easy way out.
I love your piping though!! And the seam in the middle looks awesome. Like an old feedsack. I love it!

That looks great, Pattie! I envy all the sewing bloggers who can do slipcovers. My sewing is pretty limited to straight lines, so this is rather intimidating for me.

I love your chair cover. the drop cloth is such a great idea. I am trying to do a chair cover, it is a slow process for me. It looks like you have a sweet Boston Terrier, we have a male. he is the best dog.

Love it! The seam gives it an added touch that I like a lot! I have no clue how to make a slip cover or do upholstery, it's always been a mystery to me. You really did a great job!
