Chicken Salad Recipe

Good morning peeps... Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, My sister her friend Judy and my Great niece left early Sunday morning. We all had a nice visit, Did a little shopping, cooking, and some good talks, Anyway I promised you all my chicken salad recipe so here it is.......

One roasted chicken form the grocery store chopped up
two stocks of celery
two or three green onions
1/2 cup of dried cranberries
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
1 cup of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
And I use Croissants

Now, You can alter this by adding as much of the ingredients that you want... When I cook I really don't pay any attention to measurements...unless I am baking, But this is all the stuff I put in it. So hope you all try it and let me know what you think. And Judy I know that you are waiting for this recipe... So ENJOY and glad you came down to see me....

Hugs
~~Pattie~~

Yum, very similar to the way I make it. Haven't done the curry or poppy seeds.

I think I could jump in a vat of that about now! I love a good chicken salad! I love curry and wow even poppy seeds in the recipe! Not sure this would be on my Weight Watchers plan but maybe I could tweak it a little!

Thanks for stopping over this morning!

Ok, I am going to make some up! Thank you for sharing! There is really something wonderful about a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant - and a great summer food to have on hand!
