Painting Tile....

Good morning my friends, I hope you had a good 4th of July weekend. Yesterday I started working on my fireplace. It needed a little TLC ... I have trouble taking before and after pictures of what I do, You see I get this idea going in my head and I run with it... and I can't stop. Then after I get almost done I think crap I should have taken before shots. I get so rapped up in it that I forget that maybe you all would like to see step by step on what I do... I promise I will get better at this... In the mean time this is what I have... This is a picture  of the fireplace before

After I painted the living room the tile didn't seem right, It had a pink hue (not good) it my opinion  So I desisted to paint the tile white. Then thought, I should think about changing the outside doors ...Well let me just tell you I was shocked on how much it would cost, Only starts at $600.00 and up (not in my budget) so went back to Lowe's got some heat resistant paint and got to work.... the is what I came up with so far.

Now I have to spray paint the pieces to the door and put it back together again.

Now all I need to do is come up with new ideas for the mantel...

Hugs
~~Pattie~~

Hi Pattie - I love your living room! Looks so comfy and inviting and love the whiteness of it all! You and I are the same, I always forget to take photos of before, and by the time I remember, project's already done. Oh well...it's the after that counts anyway.

So pretty! The pure white looks so much better than the pinkish hue. It's so nice when a small change can make such an impact. Look forward to seeing it all fluffed up and decorated.
