New Home

Good Day all.... well as always the Holidays creep up faster and faster every year... And as always I feel like I'm behind, My friend Krista invited Tia and I over for Thanksgiving... When she asked me I said Yes right away I think she was a little stunned, The answer came out of my mouth before she even had the chance finish her sentence... So I am making the Ham and maybe a surprise (if I have time) . So before I get started on decorating for Christmas I thought I would share with all of you where and what I decided to do with the Ethan Allen desk I found at goodwill for the amazing price of $22.00 dollars... You know I looked it up online and found the same desk for the bargain price of $1479.00 I still can't believe it...So here are a few pictures of where it's new home is...

It made it's way to the guest room/office and I am happy with where it's at. There are still a few things I would love to do in this room and will when time allows, But for now I Love it...and I have decided to leave the desk as is, It's really to beautiful to paint....I won't be decorating the table for Thanksgiving this year so have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Thanksgiving with your family and friends and I'll be back at the end of next week....

What a beautiful desk and room! Your house is just gorgeous. I just love thrift shopping.
I don't think I'll be at Horton's on the 3rd, I have another event that I'm in that I must attend. I'd love to be able to do both...we'll see if I can sneak out. I hope you and Tia have a Happy Thanksgiving at Krista's house. What a sweet friend for inviting you over.

Oh, your house is absolutely stunning! So organized, mine is such a mess. Both my daughter and I love anything vintage, in fact she even sings vintage...40s, 50s and 60s, nothing beyond that! I'm following you immediately. I'm Sicilian from Trapani but I grew up in New York in the 60s and 70. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Tia. We also celebrate it here but that's because I always celebrated it in New York, here in Italy only now people are beginning to learn about Thanksgiving.
