My New Laundry Room Reveal

So as you know I have been working on my laundry room for the past two weeks, And let me tell you there was a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that went into this project, But in the end I am so loving how it turned out.. I know it looks a little dark But I assure you that it is not, I ended up having a friend help me install the shelving because I couldn't find any that I liked, These are so much stronger than the wire kind.. The paint is called Zinc (Martha Stewart) I cheated and had Lowe's color match it (Sorry Martha) and the flooring is a high grade peel and stick. The baskets and laundry hamper I bought over the summer at good old Home Good. I hid the heating and cooling system and water heater with a King size sheet hemmed and put up with a tension rod. I am still waiting for the lighting I ordered to come in But in the mean time do you remember what the Laundry Room looked like????

                                                BEFORE

                                  And here is the AFTER

So what do you think? Thank you to all of my girlfriends Hubbies that helped me with all the hard things that I could have never done without your help....

Pattie, your makeover is awesome. that paint color is great. I need to think of a place to use that color.
Really loving the artwork, too cool.
Love the look of the sheet. IT really cleaned up the look.
Am I the only one worried about the fabric so close to the heat and water heater? It looks awesome but I want you to be safe. Gas would be a big problem but if you systems are electric I really don't know.
Have a great week.
Blessings, Ginger

That looks FANTASTIC, Pattie! What an inspiration you are with this laundry room. I can't believe this is the same room from the "before". Love, love the curtain you made to hide all the mechanicals. Love the color and your faucet art work. Great hamper; I need one of those and will have to search out a Home Goods in our new state.

Love the colour you used for the paint. Can not believe what a great change adding a curtain made. Clothes pins in the jar makes a great visual. Congratulations on your makeover.

Love the laundry room!!! The curtain is just the perfect way to hide the tank and furnace...great way of doing that! You do such a great job Pattie!

It is good that you still made an effort to keep your laundry room organized. There are some people who do not pay much attention to the laundry room because it is a part of the home which almost no one sees except the owner. Installing a heater is also a wise decision. You can still do laundry at night without feeling any chills!
