I'm Still Here

Good morning everyone, Just wanted to check in and tell everyone that I'm still here, I've been busy with Tia and work, Not much time to blog lately, But I have been checking on every ones blog about what you all have been up to. I have been debating on painting the front door and shutters and cleaning up the garden so I can get ready for Fall decorations. So I have a question for you. Help me decide what color to paint, The teal has been there for ten years and I think I want to got darker, But I'm open to anything So let me know by next week and I will pick for your suggestions ... Here is what it looks like now.

I think I'm getting rid of the little bench too, It's old and no longer my style, Not sure what I will replace with but it has to go as well.
Hope you all are having a good week and a great Holiday weekend.

Pattie ~ I really love the color that it is ~ It is pretty and different than most front doors ~
When we had our house painted our painter talked us into black and I love it too! Our house is white so it really sets it off well ~

The teal is still pretty. I'm terrible at making decisions so I don't think I could even suggest a color for you!

Pattie,
I'm a classic type of gal...so I would go with black (mine are black).

Pattie, is the wood on your house gray? I was looking at the BM virtual paint deck and was thinking maybe a rust brown like spiced pumpkin or baked clay in a gloss. The gloss helps them to stand out. I am just looking at these on my computer and not in person, but thought they would bring out those colors in your brick. Or just a dark brown for a traditional look.

hmmm... I still like the teal...however, I love Kim's idea of the spiced pumpkin color...or a copper/bronze would be nice too. Take care Pattie!

I love the teal and vote for keeping it! ♥

I would paint them a greyish-lavenderish color. I know that's not really a specific color but I'm just so obsessed with lavenders and purples right now!!!

Your house is so darling, I love the shot of your front door open...what a lovely place to come home to:)

I would say since the brick has brown in it, go with a deep red, or pumpkin color. It will really warm up the look of your house. Shutters too! :-)

I understand how it is to want to change something when you've been looking at it a long time... but that door is gorgeous as it is... the color is breathtaking with all your stuff... maybe just changing the bench would satisfy the craving to do things over

My favorite would be black. I also think a deep Pumpkin color would be pretty. I know whatever you select will be gorgeous!

hmmm this is a tough one Pattie! I know when deciding on outside colours i constantly go out with the paint chips to decide. How about a dark grey for the shutters and the door a colour with more punch?? An iron or cement bench would look great and compliment your fountain more. The bench is very country while the fountain is more elegant...european style.
I am sure you will come up with a fab choice!!

I love the color of your brick, too. Would you paint the shutters also? Red or black would look wonderful, I'm thinking.
I'll be interested in seeing what you decide.
